The 2026 Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull, powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. This model carries forward the legacy of the original fishing pontoon while introducing a complete redesign with updated console and lounge layouts.

The boat accommodates fishing with practical features throughout. Two folding fishing seats provide casting stations, positioned under a standard 7-foot bimini top for shade. The driver console includes a dedicated rod holder and comes equipped with a phone compartment. Storage has been expanded with three additional cubic feet of capacity integrated into redesigned backrests, while four additional cupholders are distributed across the boat.

At 18 feet 5 inches in length with an 8-foot beam, the Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is designed for shallow-water fishing and day trips on inland waters. New design elements include updated seating ahead of the driver console and revised lounge arrangements, making it an efficient layout for both fishing activity and comfort.
