The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18.4-foot aluminum fishing pontoon powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. It seats seven and combines traditional pontoon capability with fishing-specific design, featuring a redesigned console and lounge layout alongside a standard 7-foot bimini top for shade.

The boat's fishing setup includes two folding fishing seats positioned for casting, a rod holder integrated into the driver console, and a forward seat positioned ahead of the helm. Storage totals seven cubic feet thanks in part to backrest cutouts built into the seating. The helm station incorporates a phone compartment, and the boat includes four cupholders distributed throughout the layout.

The 2026 redesign updates the original Bass Buggy platform with new styling on both the console and lounge sections. This model represents the continuation of the first fishing pontoon ever produced, carrying forward that foundation with contemporary features and updated proportions.
