The 2026 Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull, powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. This seven-passenger design combines the heritage of the original fishing pontoon with a comprehensive redesign that prioritizes both comfort and functionality on the water.

The layout includes a new console and lounge arrangement, with a seat positioned in front of the driver console for additional seating options. Two folding fishing seats are positioned under a standard 7-foot bimini top, providing shade while casting. Storage has been expanded with three cubic feet of additional space integrated into the backrest design, while practical touches include phone compartments and four extra cupholders distributed throughout the boat.

The driver console is fully equipped with a rod holder and organized controls for navigating the lake. At 8 feet wide, the pontoon offers a stable platform for a full day of fishing with room for seven people aboard.
