The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 18 DLX is an 18-foot pontoon built to accommodate up to eight people across dual fishing decks. The boat centers on a practical fishing layout: a forward console with a new 9-gallon aerated livewell, an aft 8-gallon livewell, and four removable pedestal fishing chairs positioned around the bow and sides. Four rod holders, drink holders, and storage compartments throughout the deck keep gear organized and within reach.

When not fishing, the aft L-shaped lounge with underseat storage offers comfortable seating, and a new stereo-ready setup provides entertainment. The helm features a wraparound sport console with tinted windscreen, vertical rod holder, integrated storage, and 4:2 ratio no-feedback steering. A new 9-foot black Bimini top with LED courtesy lights and storage pockets shades the upper deck, while the redesigned boarding ladder with grab rails and rear platform facilitate easy entry and exit.

The hull uses 24-inch high-buoyancy multichambered pontoon logs internally braced and supported by full-length M-brackets and heavy-duty extruded Z-bar deck supports. An all-welded, all-aluminum extended motor pod houses the single gasoline engine. The 2026 model introduces revised fencing with high-sheen finish available in Copper Red, Indigo Blue, or new Charcoal, plus additional storage space throughout, new seat configuration at the helm, and expanded cupholder placement compared to prior years.

Standard equipment includes integrated LED navigation and anchor lights, stainless steel mooring cleats, fire extinguisher, horn, motor-stop safety lanyard, and NMMA certification. A port wheelchair-accessible gate provides accessible boarding. The electrical system features a marine-grade fuse panel with water-resistant connectors and protective wire wrap, pre-wired for an optional fishing package.
