The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 18 DLX is a 20-foot aluminum pontoon built to accommodate up to eight people across dual fishing decks. Powered by a Mercury 75 hp FourStroke engine, it combines fishing capability with recreational comfort in a completely redesigned package for the new model year.
The boat centers on two aerated livewells—a 10-gallon forward unit and an 8-gallon aft unit—both equipped with shutoff valves. Four removable and folding fishing chairs with heavy-duty pedestals, rail-mounted rod holders, and multiple storage compartments support the fishing layout. When not angling, an L-shaped lounge provides casual seating, complemented by a Wet Sounds stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity and 6.5-inch speakers integrated into the seat bases.
The 2026 redesign introduces several updates: a new 9-foot Bimini top with LED courtesy lights and storage pockets, revised console styling, upgraded marine-grade flooring throughout, and UV-resistant upholstery with enhanced foam densities. Storage has been expanded with a new forward console design, additional cupholders, and in-lounge storage. The redesigned four-step boarding ladder and grab rails facilitate easier water access.
Construction features 24-inch high-buoyancy multichambered pontoon logs and an all-welded, all-aluminum extended motor pod. The boat is NMMA certified and comes with a 10-year bow-to-stern warranty plus limited lifetime structural and deck coverage. Available colors include Copper Red, Indigo Blue, and Charcoal, with new graphics and fencing finishes completing the refresh.
