The 2026 Tidewater 2300 Carolina Bay is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with an 8.8-foot beam. Powered by a single Yamaha F250 XSB2 outboard with digital engine management, the boat couples fishing capability with family-friendly comfort. It rides on a hydraulic 10-inch jack plate and trim tabs, giving the operator flexibility in shallow and deep water.
Fishing features are substantial. The boat carries three insulated livewells—a 12-gallon unit in the bow and two 30-gallon stern wells—plus two sets of stainless steel rod holders mounted in the bow and mid-bow sections, with additional tackle storage built into the Deluxe Drop Bolster Leaning Post. A fresh water wash-down rinses tackle and deck. Navigation and communication are handled by Garmin electronics: a GPSMAP 1243xsv chartplotter, GT12M-THF through-hull sounder with 350-watt 20-degree CHIRP transducer, and a VHF 215 AIS radio.
Seating and social space includes forward console seating, bow cushions with a backrest, and a stern flip-up bench. Dual fiberglass swim platforms with a 3-step ladder simplify water access, and a fresh water shower is plumbed in. A white fiberglass hard top with glass enclosure houses rod holders and carries the audio system: a Fusion RA-770 head unit feeding four JL speakers plus two additional 6.5-inch speakers, an amplified JL 10-inch subwoofer, and motion-activated interior and storage lighting. The hull bottom and hard-top underside are finished in Bahama Blue; the top and console are white with white powder-coat hardware and white cushions with black inserts.
