The Wellcraft 28 Explorer is a 28-foot center-console built on a fiberglass stepped hull engineered for speed and stability across varied water conditions. The design employs W.I.S.E. Technology—Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering—to create a hull that is lighter, stiffer, and stronger than conventional construction. Developed in partnership with Navia, a stepped-hull specialist, the hull design planes quickly, accelerates aggressively, and runs drier with improved fuel efficiency.

Power comes from six gasoline outboard engines, delivering responsive handling and performance exceeding 50 knots. The stepped-hull design is built for confidence in diverse sea states, balancing strength and control whether cruising nearshore or venturing farther offshore.

This Explorer model offers an open-air center-console layout suited for those prioritizing helm visibility and unobstructed deck space.
