The Wellcraft 28 Explorer is a 28-foot center console built on a stepped hull designed for speed and stability across varying sea conditions. Constructed from fiberglass using W.I.S.E. Technology—Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering—the hull achieves a lighter, stiffer, and stronger structure developed in partnership with Navia, a stepped-hull specialist. The design planes quickly, accelerates responsively, and operates with improved efficiency and dryness underway.

This model is configured with six gasoline outboard engines, delivering performance exceeding 50 knots with responsive handling. The stepped hull geometry supports both open-water cruising and nearshore exploration, balancing power delivery with fuel efficiency.
