The 2026 Yamaha Boats 255XE is a 24.5-foot cruiser built for wakesurf performance. It runs a single Yamaha BPT1800E-CAP engine with 1812cc displacement and 500 horsepower combined, fed by a 75-gallon fuel tank. The boat comes with a matching Shorland trailer equipped with a spare tire and swing-away tongue.

The layout centers on driver and passenger captain's chairs forward, with a bow entertainment area and removable dinette table. The stern features an integrated swim platform with upholstered seating and articulating backrests. Below deck sits an enclosed head compartment with wardrobe storage and an upholstered interior, plus a galley with stow-in-place table. Storage includes a ski locker, dedicated anchor and rope locker, and stern wet storage. A walk-through bow door and bow reboarding ladder provide access.

Accommodation and convenience are handled by snap-in marine-grade mats, hinged seat cushions, tilt steering, upgraded upholstery with Chil-Cool vinyl, and multiple seating configurations via bow filler inserts. An integrated removable cooler, lockable glove box, and integrated ballast system round out the day-to-day features.

The technical package includes a 12.3-inch Connext screen with maps, Yamaha E-Series drive-by-wire technology, cruise assist, and three-position No Wake Mode control.
