The Back Cove 340 is a 34-foot downeast-style boat powered by twin Mercury Verado V10 outboards rated at 400 horsepower each. The fiberglass hull is fitted with a bow thruster and designed specifically for outboard propulsion, delivering cruise and top-end speeds significantly faster than traditional single diesel installations. The boat achieves over 40 knots at top speed when fully crewed with fuel and water aboard. Standard equipment includes joystick control and a glazed windshield, with the hull finished in Shark Grey.

The helm station and cockpit are oriented for entertaining, featuring an aft-facing seat that converts into either a U-shaped helm deck dinette or a second berth. Below deck, the single cabin includes a spacious island berth and a split head with shower.
