The Hampton 680 Endurance LRC is a 68-foot pilothouse yacht with a Portuguese bridge design, built in fiberglass with a Kevlar-reinforced hull. Twin Caterpillar C-18 diesel engines deliver 1,136 horsepower each, enabling a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 19.5 knots. The hull design, created by naval architect Howard Apollonio, combines a hybrid split-chine configuration that allows the yacht to cruise economically at displacement speeds while capable of semi-planing when speed is needed. The design has been tank-tested and exceeds USCG and IMO standards for stability on offshore passenger-carrying commercial vessels.
The yacht accommodates four staterooms and four heads across a fully furnished interior, with the fourth stateroom serving as captain or crew quarters. An aft deck day head provides additional convenience. The spacious layout flows throughout the 19-foot-2-inch beam. Heated stone flooring and chilled water air-conditioning create comfortable living spaces throughout.
Power and propulsion systems include twin Northern Lights generators, a Victron inverter and charger system, and Hydronic diesel heating. ABT TRAC hydraulic bow and stern thrusters provide precise maneuvering, while an ABT TRAC at-rest zero-speed stabilizer system minimizes motion underway. Navigation is handled by Garmin 9000 Series equipment accessible from a four-station helm control setup. A Steelhead power-rotation davit and Bull Frog tender complete the onboard equipment. The engine room is designed as a stand-up space with exceptional access to all machinery.
