The Scout 188 Sportfish is an 18-foot center console built with a composite hull and powered by a single Yamaha 115 hp gasoline engine. The boat features Scout's Air Assist Hull design, which enables early planing and enhanced stability while reducing the horsepower needed for strong performance.

The layout includes a console with lounge seating and a large storage compartment beneath, plus additional seating for six passengers total. The boat comes standard with a reversible pilot seat that incorporates an underseat cooler, and a dual battery select switch with two battery trays for extended time on the water.
