The 2027 Wellcraft 28 Explorer is a center console built on the brand's offshore-focused platform, designed for versatility across cruising, fishing, weekend getaways, and entertaining. At 28 feet with a 9.5-foot beam, the boat combines aggressive styling with a spacious wheelhouse and practical cabin layout. The fiberglass hull is finished in Ocean Blue gelcoat with Arctic upholstery throughout.

Power comes from twin Mercury 350XXL Verado gasoline engines in white. The boat is equipped with the Sleeper Version package, which adds cabin accommodations and flexible seating while preserving the open utility and fishability characteristic of the Explorer series. The layout includes a bow cabin, fresh water system, and additional midship storage with removable ski pylon.
