The Ducale 120 is a 120-foot steel motor yacht designed by VYD studio, combining refined naval architecture with open-plan interior philosophy. The yacht's structure was extensively analyzed using finite element modeling to maximize unobstructed sightlines throughout the boat. This engineering approach allows for floor-to-ceiling windows, glass bulwarks, and large cantilevered decks while keeping structural supports minimal and concealed within compartment walls.
The steel hull is engineered for transoceanic range of 5,000 nautical miles with low fuel consumption. Twin MAN diesel engines of 1,600 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and maximum speed of 14 knots. A comprehensive insulation package throughout the yacht ensures quiet cabins and exceptional noise and vibration reduction underway and at anchor.
Accommodations include five cabins with guest quarters and crew spaces designed to exceed industry standards. The engine room and wheelhouse are equipped with modern technology for efficient operation and navigation. The yacht's beam of 27 feet provides stability and generous interior volume across its length.
