Built by Herreshoff in 1915, this 125-foot steel-hulled schooner combines classic design with substantial cruising capability. Her steel hull and teak superstructure support twin Caterpillar diesel engines of 150 hp each, delivering a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots with a range of approximately 1,500 miles under power.
The yacht accommodates six guests across three cabins, finished in traditional interior styling, with three heads. She features the open deck layout and voluminous interior characteristic of Herreshoff's design philosophy, equally suited to comfortable passage-making or competitive sailing.
In 2018, the boat underwent major restoration work at Pendennis Shipyard, including replacement of the teak deck and plywood sub-deck, replacement of significant hull plating with structural steel repairs to the chain locker and galley, restoration of the shaft alley, and comprehensive overhaul of tanks, wiring, and plumbing systems. The main engines were completely rebuilt in 2021.
