Arrow is the first West Solent One Design, launched in 1924 from Lymington. This 30-foot wooden sailing yacht embodies the racing aesthetics of the inter-war era, with the distinctive long overhangs and proportions characteristic of 1920s design. As sail number W-1, she holds historical significance within a celebrated one-design class that has endured nearly a century.
The yacht underwent comprehensive restoration in 1999 and has been maintained with exacting care since. She carries an exceptional sail wardrobe and is optimised for both CIM and IRC racing. Her competition record in classic regattas across the Mediterranean and English south coast demonstrates her capabilities as a serious racing platform.
Arrow comes with a dedicated 19-tonne transport truck and cradle, both UK and EU legal, enabling dry-sailing and straightforward repositioning between events. This self-contained package represents an uncommon asset for a regatta yacht of her age and standing.
