1937 Kettenburg Pacific Class
About This Yacht
Built in 1937, this Kettenburg Pacific Class is a 32-foot wooden sailing yacht with a 6.5-foot beam. She carries the racing pedigree of her class, with a competitive history among Pacific Class fleets and a succession of notable owners throughout her life.
The boat has undergone comprehensive restoration in recent years. Her wooden hull was epoxied inside and out using WES System, with fiberglass reinforcement laid between planks for strength. Planks were refastened, and the bottom and topsides were faired and painted with Sterling LP. Deck beams were replaced, new decking installed, and the cabin top rebuilt with varnished mahogany. Interior woodwork was restored, and the mast and boom were refurbished.
The sail plan includes a North sail inventory with newer rigging and a full cover. An outboard bracket is fitted for auxiliary power. The yacht is well-suited to daysailing and cruising under canvas.
