This 1949 Hacker-Craft Utility is a 20-foot mahogany runabout powered by a Chrysler Marine Crown 6-cylinder gasoline engine. The boat cruises at 20 knots and reaches speeds of 30 knots. The hull was built from mahogany and features an 8-foot beam.
The boat underwent a comprehensive restoration from 2002 to 2007. Work included a new mahogany deck and transom finished with 8 coats of varnish, new steel fuel tank with epoxy gray paint, and new windshield with lining. Interior panels were stripped and refinished with 6 coats of varnish. The flooring is light gray marmorette, new transom bands were installed, and a Lovett 900 auto bilge pump was added.
A Load Rite two-axle trailer with galvanized steel construction is included. The trailer features hydraulic surge brakes, pivot bunks, 13-inch wheels, and a 3,750-pound capacity. It rides on a 2-inch ball and includes a short wind Sampson post.
