This 1955 Lyman 18 Inboard is a classic wooden runabout with clean lines and solid craftsmanship. Hull #B1071 was purchased new in March 1955 and has undergone an extensive 600-hour restoration. The hull received new lapstrake bottom and side planks, a new Okume transom with fresh frames, and a complete resealing. The bottom is painted with three coats of copper bronze hard racing paint, while the SeaFoam green hull sides carry five coats of topside paint. The decks and transom feature twelve coats of fresh varnish, as does all interior mahogany work.
The original Grey Marine Model 100 six-cylinder inboard engine has been completely rebuilt with zero hours on the new engine. All wiring and accessories are new. The boat comes with its original Bimini top, a custom-fitted Sunbrella cover, and a custom-fitted TeeNee trailer.
