This 1956 Chris-Craft 17 Sportsman is a classic mid-century runabout built from mahogany with traditional styling and proportions. The boat measures 17 feet in length with a 6.4-foot beam and is powered by a single 131-horsepower Chris-Craft KLC inboard engine.
In 2018, the boat underwent comprehensive restoration work. The hull bottom was resealed, and both the hull and deck were refinished. The interior received new upholstery, flooring, and varnish throughout. The original Chris-Craft engine was rebuilt at that time. Instruments including the tachometer, oil pressure gauge, and voltage meter were professionally restored. Chrome fittings were replated and stainless steel hardware was polished.
The boat's finish is in good condition and shows ready for use. A custom cockpit cover and single-axle trailer are included.
