1956 Riva Tritone

This 1956 Riva Tritone is a wooden-hulled speedboat with two Chris-Craft ML 145 hp engines that deliver a maximum speed of 35 knots. The boat retains its original hull sides and deck planking, with a new bottom installed. Twin engines are equipped with the original Chris-O-Matic electric-hydraulic shifting system, which operates smoothly. The 6-volt electrical system is original to the 1956 production year, with all lights, siren, and related systems in working order.

The restoration was completed in 2016 and has been stored indoors since. Upholstery was renewed in the original 1956 colour scheme. The engines were rebuilt by Van Ness Engineering and run without issue. All detailing reflects a commitment to preserving the boat's authentic character and original specification.

Included with the boat are a Riva cool box, blue canvas cover, and wooden cradle. At 26 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam, this is a rare early Riva Tritone finished to show condition.
