The boat runs under its own power with a 1984 Mercury Cruiser inboard engine (120 hp, GM-based 4-cylinder), replacing the original powerplant, paired with a direct prop-shaft drive system. A 2006 Honda 2 hp outboard kicker motor is included as backup.
