1958 Costantini ketch

A 1958 Costantini ketch designed by architect Louis Costantini and built at the Trinité-sur-Mer shipyard. Originally commissioned for scientific research expeditions in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, the boat was converted to a luxury cruising yacht in 1967. Over nearly seven decades, she has logged extensive passages along the Atlantic coast and throughout the western Mediterranean, visiting Portugal, Spain, Morocco, the Balearics, France, and Italy.

The boat has undergone numerous maintenance cycles and several substantial refits to support her continued operation. She measures 57 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and is powered by a Volvo diesel engine. Construction is wooden throughout.

The ketch is officially documented and maintains a home port in Hyères, France, where she holds a designated berth as a recognized historic vessel. She is registered with the French Association of Traditional Yachts (AFYT) and remains active in classic and traditional yacht racing events. The yacht was distinguished at the 1998 Lisbon Expo as a vessel worthy of representing maritime heritage.
