1961 Custom Lobster

This 30-foot custom lobster boat was built in 1961 and underwent restoration work in 2003 at Ralph Stanley's yard in Southwest Harbor. Following that, systems and interior finishing were completed at Clark Island Boatworks in St. George, Maine. The hull is wooden construction, powered by a single 225-horsepower John Deere diesel engine.

The boat is set up for picnic cruising and is reported to be in good condition with regular maintenance. It represents a classic downeast design from the early 1960s, built to traditional lobstering standards but configured for pleasure use.
