This 1963 Rybovich 22 is a rare sportfish center console, one of only two believed to remain in existence. Built as a prototype, it represents an early innovation in shallow-draft, high-performance inshore fishing boat design—a concept that influenced the development of similar models by manufacturers that followed. The boat carries the original name "ASININE," a nod to its design philosophy.
The 22-footer is powered by a single 225-horsepower Chrysler gasoline engine. An uncluttered cockpit layout runs the full length of the boat, designed for stability and speed in inshore waters while maintaining shallow draft. The fiberglass hull measures 22 feet in length with a beam of 7.08 feet.
Current equipment includes a new VHF iCOM M330 radio and Garmin GPSMAP 943XSV GPS chartplotter. The boat is accompanied by a 2008 Continental trailer.
