1964 Chris-Craft 37 Constellation

This 1964 Chris-Craft 37 Constellation is a wooden-hulled cruiser built during the classic era of American yachting. The hull and interior are mahogany with a fiberglass upper structure. Twin Chevrolet gasoline engines produce 420 horsepower, backed by Edelbrock marine carburetors and supported by a Westerbeke 5 kW generator.

The yacht sleeps six and features a modernized interior with a galley equipped with a three-burner electric cooktop, Dometic refrigerator, and custom Corian countertops. Sanitation includes a porcelain toilet with electronic controls, a 28-gallon waste holding tank with macerator, and an enlarged bathroom with full shower. Fresh water is supplied by dual 40-gallon Poly tanks, while fuel capacity totals 220 gallons across two aluminum tanks. A Lewmar windlass with anchor completes the ground tackle.

A comprehensive modernization has replaced all major systems while preserving the classic design. The electrical system conforms to NMMA standards throughout. Cooling is provided by a 6,500 BTU air conditioning unit, and navigation equipment has been updated. Interior finishes include LED lighting, mahogany and maple striped flooring, replaced interior ceiling with mahogany strips, and all upholstery recovered in Sunbrella fabric. Chrome work has been re-plated, and a custom stern canopy with Stamoid covering protects the aft deck. The hull was found in sound condition at the time of purchase, with eleven planks replaced then; the remaining planks required no correction.
