A 1964 Egg Harbor 37 Convertible built on a wooden hull and operated in fresh water since launch. Twin Crusader 454 gasoline engines producing 350 horsepower each were installed in 2018 with approximately 100 hours of run time. The boat reaches 18 knots and is fitted with trim tabs and Velvet Drive transmissions.
The convertible sedan layout sleeps six and includes a single head with a Raritan flush toilet, marble vanity, porcelain sink, and stall shower. The salon features a two-station helm configuration with duplicate electronics at upper and lower stations, including VHF radio, depth sounder, speed indicator, and Garmin 850 GPS/chartplotter. Navigation electronics are removable between stations. Three LCD televisions and Kenwood and Blaupunkt stereo systems provide entertainment at both helm positions. Galley and bar countertops are granite. Canvas covers include a fly-bridge convertible top and mooring cover.
The wooden hull is maintained with copper ablative flat black bottom paint. Interior woodwork has been conditioned annually. Granite countertops finished the galley, bar, and head. Tinted windows protect the interior. The boat includes a 40-foot custom canvas cover with snaps. Original manuals and maintenance records are aboard.
