A 1965 Chris-Craft 57 Constellation built from wood, this cruiser represents the final era of the builder's wooden yacht construction. One of only eight factory-extended hardtop models produced, the boat combines classic mid-century design with modern systems updated during a comprehensive refit completed in 2014. Twin GM Detroit diesel engines deliver 636 horsepower and provide economical cruising power suited to extended passagemaking.
The layout accommodates four cabins and three heads, offering comfortable spaces for cruising or extended stays aboard. The hardtop design provides weather protection while maintaining visibility and the open-air character expected of this vintage and size.
The boat underwent extensive systems work between 2010 and 2014, with all major components updated to modern standards. The wooden hull and structure have been maintained and restored as part of this multi-year project.
