This 1965 Nicholson 32 is a classic fiberglass sloop with a long keel, powered by a single 28 hp Vetus diesel engine installed in 2011. The boat measures 32 feet overall with a 9.17-foot beam and carries 100 liters of fuel and 200 liters of fresh water in stainless steel tanks.
The boat is sloop-rigged with aluminum spars and stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2019. The mainsail is a 2020 Jeckells with slab reels, full battens, lazy jacks, and three reefs; the headsail is a 2020 Jeckells furling unit. Additional sails include a 2020 cruising chute, spare main and genoa, and a spinnaker. Running rigging was renewed in 2020, and new masthead lights and wiring were fitted that same year. A spinnaker pole kit is included.
Below deck, accommodations include a cooker with oven, grill, sink, refrigerator, manual water system with fresh washdown, and cabin curtains. Navigation equipment is comprehensive: a 2020 Raymarine Axiom 7RV multifunction display with chartplotter and radar, 2019 Raymarine ST1000+ autopilot, 2019 Quantum wireless radar, Standard Horizon VHF DSC radio, and instruments for wind, speed, log, and depth. Electrical power comes from two 12-volt batteries charged by the engine, a 2019 Rutland wind generator, and 240-volt shore power with a 2019 Sterling Pro Charge Ultra charger.
Deck hardware includes two Harken self-tailing sheet winches serviced in 2019, two halyard winches, an Aries windvane self-steering system, and a 2020 Genius electric windlass supplied but not yet fitted. The boat carries two anchors with 50 meters of chain upgraded in 2020, plus beaching legs, fenders, warp, boathook, and sail cover. A 2020 sprayhood, spray dodgers, and 2020 cockpit tent complete the inventory. New stainless steel windows and a solar arch were installed in 2020.
