This 1967 Custom Hatteras 28 cruiser is built on a fiberglass hull with a 12-foot-5-inch beam, designed by J.B. Hargrave. The yacht was comprehensively refurbished in 2016, including twin new Mercury 350 inboard engines with minimal runtime, a new Westerbeke generator, and updated electronics throughout. A custom fiberglass hardtop with venting windshield provides shade and protection while cruising.
Below deck, the cabin features teak joinery and air conditioning. The layout includes a forward V-berth for two, a dinette seating four, a fully equipped galley with a two-burner Princess stove, microwave, and refrigerator-freezer, plus a stand-up head with shower. Entertainment is provided by a Toshiba television with DVD player and a Clarion stereo system with cabin and cockpit speakers.
The helm is equipped with new gauges and switch panel from the 2016 refit, along with Simrad multi-function display, 36-mile radar, and autopilot. VHF radio and new helm chairs with tackle storage complete the control station. Fuel capacity includes an 188-gallon main tank and a 41-gallon generator tank. Deck features include an anchor windlass with foot controls, Lenco trim tabs, custom bow and cockpit rails, underwater lights, and a custom swim platform with stainless ladder. Mast-mounted equipment comprises FLIR night vision with rotating camera, remote searchlight, LED spreader lights, dual air horns, and dual antennas.
