This 1967 Formula 233 Fisherman is built on an original Don Aronow-designed ocean-racing hull—the same design DNA that powered early offshore racing programs. The fiberglass boat measures 23 feet with an 8-foot beam and combines period authenticity with modern mechanical reliability.
The boat underwent a complete structural restoration: new transom, new stringers, new floor, and fresh paint throughout. Power comes from a Chevy small-block 350 engine rated at 270 horsepower, paired with a Volvo 290 dual-prop outdrive. Both engine and outdrive were recently rebuilt and have approximately 10 hours of running time since completion.
Systems throughout are new or rebuilt: steering and cables, electrical wiring, trim tabs, and gauges. The cabin layout remains original to 1967, with much of the vintage woodwork retained to preserve the authentic character of the era. Period-style graphics are applied to the hull and fully removable if preferred.
A Float-On trailer is included and fully updated with new hubs, wheels, tires, and winch.
