This 1968 Grenfell is a 40-foot express cruiser built in Vancouver. One of only two examples produced, she features a wooden hull powered by twin Volvo six-cylinder diesel engines delivering 330 horsepower. The boat includes two cabins and two heads, providing comfortable accommodation for cruising.
The yacht has benefited from significant professional maintenance throughout her life, including service by Gartside Marine Services and boatyard work by Abernethy & Gaudin and Philbrooks. A comprehensive refit was completed in 1999 that encompassed refastening, new house and deck structures, interior updates, and other major work. Under her current ownership, additional upgrades have been undertaken. The electrical systems include an Electro-Guard Bonding System and modernized 110-volt wiring.
The boat is in sound structural condition with a wooden hull that has been well cared for. A 45-foot boathouse used for her storage is available separately and features convenient entry, environmental floatation, 30-amp power to both sides, and low-voltage shore power.
