1968 Stephens Motor Yacht

This 1968 Stephens 58-foot motor yacht is a wooden-hulled classic built by the renowned Stephens Brothers in Stockton, California. Twin Detroit Diesel 8V71N engines produce 650 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots. The yacht's sweeping mahogany sheer and proportions exemplify postwar American wooden yacht construction.

The interior features a three-stateroom, two-head layout arranged for extended cruising or liveaboard use. The main salon showcases mahogany joinery and brass accents. Accommodations include refinished teak-and-holly soles throughout, new upholstery, and blue quartzite countertops. The aft deck is open to the water for comfortable anchoring.

A comprehensive restoration has been completed over the past three years, addressing both mechanical and structural work. The engine systems were overhauled, and new electrical and plumbing systems were installed. A Raymarine navigation suite with integrated helm and aft camera displays was added. New air conditioning and heating systems, a bow thruster, and a solar array support modern cruising. Deck surfaces were refinished with custom non-skid treatment. A custom Makrolon flybridge enclosure and new Sunbrella canvas complete the weather protection. Note that the stabilizers require servicing.
