1969 Boston Whaler Skonnet

This is a 1969 Boston Whaler Skonnet, a 16.7-foot center console built in fiberglass. The boat is original and unrestored, with varnished wood preserved throughout its life. It was stored indoors and has seen minimal water time beyond short outings. The bottom paint has been recently applied and the lower unit oil was changed.

Power comes from a Mercury 90-horsepower six-cylinder engine installed from a new old stock crate. The engine runs without smoke, starts readily, and has low total hours. An impeller was replaced last year. The boat is equipped with a large fuel tank mounted under the console, a depth finder, original compass, and running lights. A fresh fire extinguisher and new battery are on board.

The design centers on an all-teak foredeck suited for one or two fishing positions, with a removable section that opens to a bench seat. The console is solidly constructed with no movement or looseness. The boat comes on a recent trailer and is outfitted with lines, anchor, fenders, fish finder, and life jackets, ready for immediate use.
