Sultana is a 1969 Feadship, a 25.8-metre steel motor yacht built at De Vries in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. She was designed as part of the Caravelle Series developed through collaboration between Feadship and Carlo Riva. Twin Gardner diesel engines producing 490 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots.
The yacht underwent major reconstruction in summer 2012 at Feadship's Makkum yard. The work focused on preserving her classic character while updating systems for comfortable cruising and entertaining. The interior was redesigned in a contemporary style, outside deck areas were optimized for use, and power generation was upgraded with main engine alternators, batteries, and diesel generators to enable silent anchoring and improved fuel efficiency. The Gardner engines were restored and serviced.
Following a change of ownership in early 2021, Sultana received additional significant refits at Monaco Marine Beaulieu. The Gardner engines were rebuilt again, a new generator was installed, lithium batteries were replaced, and the sundeck was fitted with new teak. The hull received a full repaint. Interior work included a new enclosed galley, a full laundry room, improved access to the master cabin with dedicated crew quarters on the bridge, new carpeting and wall linings throughout, and a new AV system with Starlink connectivity.
