The 1969 John Allmand Citation II is a 23-foot fiberglass cuddy cabin powered by a MerCruiser 4.3 MPI engine with Gen II Alpha outdrive. The boat has a well-regarded hull design known for its ride and handling characteristics. It seats eight or more and features high freeboard sides, making it suitable for family cruising.
The boat underwent a comprehensive mechanical restoration in 2017, which included a new engine, outdrive, transom work, rewiring, new gauges, dashboard, steering, trim tabs, windlass, dual 45-gallon custom fuel tanks, new flooring, and woodwork. A custom swim platform and table were also installed. Since the restoration, the boat has logged an estimated 100 to 200 hours of operation.
Recent updates include a new Bimini top installed in 2023, a hull repaint in Awlgrip Stars and Stripes Blue in 2024, and replacement of the U-joint shaft and oil seal in 2025. A custom mooring cover is included. The boat comes with a tandem-axle Continental aluminum trailer.
