This 1970 Bertram 31 is a fiberglass sportfisher built around a proven hull design renowned for its strength and seakeeping in serious fishing grounds. The boat stretches just over 30 feet with an 11-foot beam and is powered by twin 2011 Mercruiser 8.1 Horizon reman engines rated at 370 hp each, with approximately 650 hours on them, capable of 30 knots.

The interior centers on an open layout with a galley to starboard featuring custom cabinetry that houses a drop-in AC freezer, insulated drink box, and storage drawers. The dinette is a large U-shaped configuration with a table and under-seat storage. Teak flooring is removable to access the bilge. The v-berth forward includes an electric head with holding tank and overboard discharge, alongside an anchor locker. Overhead lighting, a Fusion stereo with two speakers, rod storage, and fire extinguishers round out the cabin spaces.

The boat underwent a comprehensive refit completed in 2011 that included interior renovation, hull and stringer reinforcement, a new Glass Marine fiberglass deck, and replacement machinery. Since then, upgrades have added Lenco trim tabs, new Garmin 12-inch TS displays with Reactor autopilot and remote, a new Airmar transducer, updated fuel tank sender with Garmin integration, and a Carolina-style transom fishbox. The helm features a single seat with cushions, Seastar hydraulic steering, and Morse cable controls under a Bimini top with three-sided curtains.

Cockpit and deck amenities include a white Pompanette fighting chair with rocket launcher, seven gunnel rod holders, Rupp outriggers, a glass deck with molded hatches, and a saltwater washdown. Twin bilge pumps with float switches and high-water alarms serve the forward and aft compartments. Two Odyssey AGM batteries and a ProMariner battery charger support the electrical system.
