This 1970 Bertram Sportsman is a 20-foot center console built in fiberglass. The boat was fully restored over two years, completed in 2022, with comprehensive upgrades throughout. It is one of only 99 Sportsman hulls produced.
The restoration installed a 5.3L GM engine paired with a SEI outdrive, with the engine currently showing under 150 hours of runtime. The electronics suite includes a Simrad multifunction display and VHF radio, integrated with a Lumitec Pico lighting control system. The audio system features JL speakers, amplifier, and head unit. Underwater and cabin lighting comes from Lumitec fixtures, with the cabin lights providing ambient illumination throughout the interior spaces. Custom upholstery and bolster pads were fitted during the restoration.
Additional equipment includes a stainless steel bimini top, pop-up ski pylon, custom boat cover, and a battery charger. The exterior received Awlgrip paint inside and out, while original hardware including the cowl vent and flag holder were re-chromed. The boat rides on a new trailer with fresh axles and tires. All new equipment dates from 2020 onward.
