This 1970 Chris-Craft 52 Constellation is a 53-foot motor yacht with a mahogany double-layered hull and a customized fiberglass flybridge. Twin Detroit 671 diesel engines, each producing 165 horsepower, power the boat, supported by a 10 kW generator. The yacht carries a 4,300-watt solar array with Victron inverter and controller, along with a foldable Brower Systems flybridge crane for handling.
The accommodations span two bedrooms, three heads with two shower and basin combinations, and a large main salon with convertible sleeper sofas. The galley features built-in cabinets, marble slab countertops, and seating for six, with under-seat storage and a spice rack. A pizza oven is positioned on the aft deck. Marine air conditioning serves the main salon and galley, with split-vent cooling for the captain's cabin and guest cabin. An electric Jabsco toilet and a small washing machine are installed.
In 2022, the hull and deck were completely repainted with anti-fouling paint. All through-hulls and seacocks were replaced with brass fittings and backing plates installed. Both propeller shafts were removed and refitted with new sleeves and packing. Rudder and shaft anodes were replaced. The engines were serviced and both batteries were replaced in September. An air conditioning pump was replaced. The boat has been unattended for an extended period and will require work before extended cruising.
