The Tartan 30 is a 30-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a 10-foot beam, built in 1970. The design delivers responsive handling and approachable sailing characteristics across a range of conditions. Tartan produced 600 of these boats, reflecting the model's enduring appeal among cruising sailors.

The boat accommodates two cabins and a single head, providing comfortable overnight quarters and basic facilities for coastal and cruising work. A Universal gasoline engine rated at 30 horsepower provides auxiliary power when needed.
