1971 Bertram Option 2 — More Enthusiastic,
About This Yacht
This 1971 Bertram Option 2 is a 24-foot fiberglass cuddy cabin powered by twin 330-horsepower GM gasoline engines, capable of cruising at 24 knots and reaching 28 knots at speed. The hardtop includes rod holders and is complemented by updated electronics including a Garmin chartplotter and depth finder.
Recent work includes a factory-rebuilt original 165-horsepower GM engine completed in 2025 with fewer than ten hours of operation, a new wiring harness with updated gauges and electrical systems throughout, and a new floor installed in 2025. The hull carries fresh Awlgrip paint applied several years ago.
The spacious cuddy cabin provides storage and overnight accommodation. An Owens & Sons aluminum slide-on trailer, serviced and overhauled the previous summer, is included.
