1972 Aluminum Cruiser Sea-Crest

This 1972 aluminum houseboat spans 45 feet with a 14-foot beam and draws power from two 180-horsepower Honda gasoline engines. The hull has been repainted with marine paint, with an oblated bottom coat applied recently. The aluminum construction shows minimal electrolysis and remains in sound condition, though the deck would benefit from an additional paint coat.

The flybridge extends 10 feet across and features a Bluetooth sound system, with a deployable Bimini top for river cruising. Below deck, the interior cabinetry is hand-built from quarter-sawn white oak in Amish craftwork. The boat achieves a cruising speed of 7 knots with a maximum speed of 15 knots.

Electrical systems are powered by a 30-kilowatt lithium battery bank charged by 850 watts of solar panels, supplemented by a Honda 2200i generator. This setup allows air-conditioning operation through the night without running the main engines or combustion equipment. The generator can be recharged from shore power or through the boat's systems.
