1972 C&C C&C 30

This 1972 C&C 30 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built with a balsa-cored deck and solid hull. Measuring 30 feet overall with a 10-foot beam and drawing 5 feet of water, she displaces 8,000 pounds with a 3,400-pound lead keel. She is powered by a Universal Atomic Four gasoline engine producing 30 horsepower, with a fresh water cooling system installed in 2001. The single-spreader mast carries stainless steel rigging renewed in 2020.

The sails include a mainsail, 150% genoa, storm sail, and gennaker all in good condition. Running rigging features roller furling on the genoa, with five Barient winches mounted on deck plus two additional spare winches. The boat has Raymarine instruments including wind, depth, and speed displays, a Simrad GPS and autopilot, and a Standard Horizon VHS radio. Navigation lighting includes bow and stern lights, steaming light, spreader light, and masthead anchor light.

Below deck accommodates a dinette that converts to a double berth, along with a galley fitted with a single-burner butane stove, large icebox, and pressure water system. A wood and pellet stove provides heating. The head includes a 6-gallon holding tank and macerator pump. Water storage totals 65 gallons across two tanks, with a 3-gallon hot water tank and cockpit shower. Recent upgrades include new batteries with lithium auxiliary power, a fresh water cooled engine conversion, new carburetor, exhaust manifold, heat exchanger, and raw water impeller. Electrical systems include shore power capability, automatic and manual bilge pumps, and 12-volt house power.
