1972 Ditmar & Donaldson Motoryacht

This 87-foot motor yacht was built in 1972 by Ditmar & Donaldson, combining solid wood construction with twin Caterpillar diesel engines rated at 1100 horsepower total. The boat cruises at 12 knots and carries the classical proportions and design character of traditional yacht building from that era.

The layout includes seven cabins and seven heads, with three guest cabins each having their own head, plus two crew cabins and a dedicated crew work station. The main living spaces feature a large salon and dining area, along with an updated galley fitted with new woodwork and quality appliances.

Power and onboard systems include three Northerlights generators—two 30-kilowatt units and one 20-kilowatt unit—for reliable electrical generation. Navigation and instrumentation have been updated with Garmin electronics. Over the past decade, the yacht underwent comprehensive refit work that introduced modern systems and comforts while preserving her original character and wood detailing.
