1972 Hatteras 58 Cockpit Motor Yacht

This 1972 Hatteras 58 Cockpit Motor Yacht is a classic fiberglass cruiser powered by two diesel engines. The twin 575 hp Detroit units were installed in 1985 and have logged 2000 hours. Recent mechanical work includes new turbochargers, manifolds, risers, and blower coolers on both motors. A Phasor generator was added in 2006.

The yacht accommodates three cabins and three heads, laid out for comfortable extended cruising. She measures 58 feet in length with a beam of nearly 16 feet, providing solid sea-keeping qualities and living space.

The boat is undergoing ongoing reconditioning. Recent projects include new anchor chain and windlass installation, replacement of hoses and hydraulic lines, new impellers and related systems, as well as topside paint, deck work, and hull refinishing including bottom paint applied in September 2025. Most systems remain operational throughout the work program. Engine running gear and bottom condition can be inspected during her haul-out period at the yard.
