1972 Monk Schooner

This is a 1972 Monk schooner, a 69-foot wooden sailing yacht designed by Ed Monk Sr. and built in the Pacific Northwest. Powered by a single 130 hp GMC diesel engine, she reaches a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots. The schooner rig is designed for efficient handling and can be managed with a small crew.
