This 37-foot Repco Downeast was comprehensively rebuilt between 2000 and 2003 by Buxton Boats in Stonington, Maine. The rebuild included a new cockpit, a new Duffy 35 superstructure, and a single Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engine. The interior was designed and constructed new during this period, with updated wiring, plumbing, tanks, and electronics throughout.
The layout offers a spacious cockpit and a simple interior cabin configured for two to four occupants. The single diesel engine has approximately 2,300 hours and provides a cruising speed of 15 to 16 miles per hour.
The boat is built on a fiberglass hull measuring 37 feet in length and 12.25 feet in beam. All major systems and structural components were replaced or renewed during the rebuild, making this a substantially reconstructed example of the classic Maine Downeast design.
