The 75-foot Rybovich Custom, a rare cockpit motor yacht built in 1972, represents one of only five motor yachts produced by the storied builder and the largest of its kind. Constructed using cold-molded mahogany construction—three diagonal layers at 45-degree angles on the topsides with five layers on the hull bottom, all sheathed in fiberglass and resin—the yacht demonstrates the builder's mastery of a time-honored technique. Twin Caterpillar 3406 diesel engines deliver 1,600 horsepower, propelling the boat to 23.5 knots with a cruising speed of 20 knots. The distinctive sharp bow entry allows smooth passage through varying sea conditions.
The interior combines warmth and elegance with mahogany woodwork, white carpets and fabrics, and painted wall panels accented by colorful cushions and period yachting memorabilia. The design creates four cabins with comfortable accommodation spaces throughout. The wheelhouse exemplifies craftsmanship, featuring clean lines, recessed electronics, and well-placed instruments that provide excellent sight-lines and abundant natural light from side windows.
The engine room maintains museum-quality standards, with nearly all components appearing new. Bright LED lighting mounted in the bilges illuminates the engines and auxiliary systems. The level of maintenance and mechanical attention evidenced throughout the yacht reflects a comprehensive approach to care and upkeep over its recent years of operation.
