1973 O'Day 22 MH

This 1973 O'Day 22 MH is a 22-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a 7.17-foot beam, powered by a single 5 hp Mercury outboard engine. The boat features a shoal draft fixed keel designed for access to shallow anchorages and is trailerable, making it well-suited for exploring protected waters. Built for day sailing with occasional overnight use, the yacht combines stability and ease of handling in a compact, manageable package.

The boat has received substantial recent maintenance and upgrades. In 2024, the mainsail and genoa were refurbished, while the spinnaker remains in good condition. During 2020, the exterior paint was refreshed, the coach roof fiberglass was improved, and new deck fittings, winches, and safety lines were installed. In 2018, a roller furler was added, and the fixed and running rigging and sail cover were replaced. The Mercury 5 hp outboard, installed in 2015, remains the single engine owner.
