1973 River Queen Star Stream

The 1973 River Queen Star Stream is a steel-hulled sedan bridge designed for comfortable cruising. Twin Volvo gasoline engines producing 560 horsepower power this 40-foot yacht, which spans 13 feet 6 inches at the beam.

The interior centers on a full-length port-side salon with a custom maple butcher block dinette and updated upholstered settee. The galley, positioned to starboard aft of the helm, includes a three-quarter Insignia refrigerator with freezer, two-burner electric stovetop, and microwave. The single aft stateroom features a queen berth with a walk-out slider to the aft deck, complemented by a full-sized hanging wardrobe, four-drawer vanity with mirror, and dressing bench. The head contains a vacu-flush toilet, vanity sink with mirrored medicine chest, and shower stall. Warm wood headliner and trim throughout are paired with recessed dual-voltage lighting.

Climate control comes from a dual-zone rooftop heat pump air-conditioning unit installed in 2020 and a window-mounted unit in the aft cabin. A Culligan whole-house water filtration system, water heater, and updated water lines were installed in 2014. A 20-amp battery charger and three-battery system support the boat, with new engine batteries installed in 2025. A new custom Bimini top with frame covers the upper deck, and a single 30-amp shore power cord connects to dockside service.
